Simon-Kucher & Partners has promoted Ruben de Lange to partner in its Amsterdam office.

Ruben de Lange has been with the global consultancy for seven years, having joined the firm in 2015 as a Consultant from a leading Dutch-origin consulting firm.

Fast forward five promotions, and De Lange is now part of the Amsterdam partnership, becoming the sixth member of the local leadership team.

The new partner – who is one of the 18 new partners for Simon-Kucher & Partners in Europe effective the start of this year – is a member of the firm’s Technology practice, and leader of the Software practice in the Netherlands.

His track record includes in-depth expertise in commercial strategy development, revenue model innovation, and value-based pricing. He assists executives of technology and software companies (and start-ups) with topline growth, among others through recurring revenue optimisation and the transition to subscription-based price models.

De Lange obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees in Business Administration from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien.

In 2021, sales & marketing strategy and pricing consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners booked stellar growth of 22%, making it one of the fastest growing global consultancies of the year.

Simon-Kucher & Partners’ Amsterdam office was founded in 2008 by Onno Oldeman, who still leads the local office. The office has grown to a team of around 50 consultants and staff.
