Monitor Deloitte has strengthened its team in Australia with Tamanah Azizi, who joins from rival Strategy&.
Tamanah Azizi is a strategy consultant with over nine years of experience advising public and private sector clients on topics including strategy development, operating model design, cost efficiency and large-scale transformation.
The engineer by background gained all her experience at Strategy&, the strategy consulting outfit of global accountancy and consultancy giant PwC.
Azizi first joined Strategy& as an intern in 2012 – at the time the international strategy consultancy still was operating under the Booz & Company banner.
When Azizi joined the firm two years on as an Associate in a full-time capacity following the completion of her studies (Electrical Engineering and Energy Systems at the Australian National University), Booz & Company had meanwhile joined PwC in a US$1 billion deal and rebranded as Strategy&.
Now at Monitor Deloitte, Melbourne-based Azizi is a Director in its Energy, Resources & Industrials practice. “Monitor Deloitte’s strong capabilities in both strategy and digital are a real differentiator in helping clients navigate complex, enterprise-wide challenges,” said Azizi on her move.
Monitor Deloitte was founded in 2012 following Deloitte’s acquisition of Monitor Group, a consulting firm co-founded by among others strategy guru and Harvard Business School professor Michael Porter (who is best known for the Porter Five Forces Model).
