For the eleventh consecutive year, Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been recognized as a Leader by Gartner, Inc. in its “Magic Quadrant for IT Services for Communications Service Providers, Worldwide” report.

Gartner positioned Accenture highest and furthest for its ability to execute and completeness of vision among the 13 companies it assessed. Accenture believes it was named as a Leader in the communications services provider (CSP) space because of its experience, methodology, CSP mind share and competitive mind share. Accenture also believes Gartner evaluated the most relevant providers and their offerings in IT services, consulting, systems integration, managed services and support services.

As per Gartner, “Leaders are suited for most ITS-CSP engagements. They are market-leading in several digital business transformation capabilities.”

“Our clients are having tremendous success in their digital transformation journeys using new technologies to launch the platforms and solutions they need to drive their growth agendas,” said Andy Walker, Communications & Media industry lead at Accenture. “We will continue to invest in our technology transformation vision, talent, ecosystem and cloud capabilities to bring the best experiences and outcomes to our clients.”

For the report, Gartner defines IT services for CSPs as multivendor IT services that CSPs buy to enable solutions to their customers, or to transform their customer, partner, employee, service or infrastructure management. The IT services providers must deliver a cloud first, agile, automation and intelligence based “digital factory” that can support broader corporate goals of product diversification, innovation, revenue growth and improved digital customer journeys.
