Arthur D. Little (ADL) today announced that Phil Bulman has been appointed as a Partner in the company’s global Operations practice. With a background in engineering, manufacturing, and procurement, Phil has an extensive track record in both industry and consulting of defining operations strategies and delivering large-scale performance and profitability improvement programs. He will be based in the company’s London office.

Prior to joining ADL, Phil was a Partner at consultants Vendigital, where he progressed through the company to lead its Transport and Infrastructure business. Joining the company in 2005, his experience spanned a variety of sectors, including automotive, aerospace, bus, rail, hi-tech manufacturing, pharma, and FMCG. Before Vendigital, Phil was a Project Manager at both MG-Rover and GKN Autostructures.

Phil has an MSc in Engineering and Management of Manufacturing Systems from Cranfield University, Bedford, and a degree in Product Design and Manufacture from the Loughborough University of Technology.
