Jason Miller, an IT consulting expert based in Chicago, has joined AlixPartners as a managing director in the digital practice.

Miller brings more than 25 years of technology transformation experience, primarily in the context of management consulting. He has led projects in technology transformation and delivery, IT sourcing, digital business, IT management and governance, IT cost management, IT strategy, and organizational design for clients across industries.

He joins AlixPartners from Boston Consulting Group, where he spent the last four years as a partner. At BCG, Miller led pre- and post-merger IT integration engagements, IT capability assessments for several global firms, and a large-scale IT agile organization design for a global beverage firm.

Before BCG, he spent nearly 14 years at Kearney, where he was latterly a partner focusing on IT transformation engagements.

Earlier in his career, Miller was an IT manager at mining firm Corus and a manager at IT consultancy Inforte Corp. He started his career at Accenture, where he focused on development and testing of IT systems.

Miller has an MBA in technology management, operations, and management strategy from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in economics and history from the University of Michigan.

Miller is the latest in a number of senior hires within the management consultancy’s digital practice. The New York-headquartered firm recently welcomed Hoyoung Pak and Himanshu Khandelwal as managing directors
