FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of Jeremy Tan as a Managing Director in its Risk and Investigations practice within the Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment, further strengthening the firm's risk management, investigative and compliance expertise across Asia.

Mr. Tan, who is based in Singapore, has more than a decade of experience advising private companies, law firms and governments. He has supervised and led the execution of numerous investigative and intelligence gathering assignments, including in-depth reputational due diligence, asset tracing, political risk analysis, threat assessments and other bespoke investigative projects in a multitude of industry sectors.

In his role at FTI Consulting, Mr. Tan will work with companies and law firms in Asia and globally to help clients develop and improve compliance, risk assessment, fraud detection, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption risk and investigative programs.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Tan worked at major global consultancy firms, where he led the growth of the investigations and business intelligence practice groups in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar and Indonesia. He also has extensive experience managing projects in other Asia Pacific countries, including China and India.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Tan served in the Singapore Prime Minister's Office, where he was involved in the identification and monitoring of emerging issues of security and strategic importance to Singapore and the wider Asia Pacific region. In this role, he conducted research and regularly supported senior government decision-makers in the policy-making process.
