Wayne Anthony and Colin Wilson of FTI Consulting’s Dubai office have been named among the firm’s record number of worldwide senior managing director promotions to start the new year.

Global professional services firm FTI Consulting has marked the new year with a record 59 senior managing director promotions made around the world, including Dubai-based duo Colin Wilson and Wayne Anthony, the latter who recently relocated from London to head FTI’s forensic accounting division for the Middle East. Wilson has been with FTI for more than eight years, while Anthony joined in 2016.

Wayne Anthony has amassed more than two decades of international forensics accounting experience across a professional dating back over 30 years to a senior associate role at KPMG. From there, he served as a partner in forensics services at BDO at UK-based professional services firm Smith & Williamson, before joining PwC, where during his decade-long stint he established the Big Four’s forensics practice in Turkey.

Throughout his career, Anthony has undertaken fraud and financial crime investigations together with asset tracing projects, litigation and dispute advisory work in the UK, Europe, India, Middle East, North Africa and Commonwealth of Independent States, specialising in particular in the financial services industry – with further experience in the manufacturing, publishing, engineering and charity sectors among others.

Fellow senior managing director promotee Colin Wilson joined FTI as a senior consultant in 2013 following a six-and-a-half-year stint at project services firm Systech International in the UAE and Qatar. Prior, he was Systech for three years in the UK, having previously served as a quantity surveyor at a number of companies following the completion of a Commercial Management degree at the University of Central Lancaster.

Globally, FTI Consulting has over 6,300 employees located in 28 countries. In the Middle East, the firm has significantly beefed up its presence over the past years, accelerated by the 2020 acquisition of TMT strategy firm Delta Partners.
