AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, today announced that Sai Tunuguntla has joined the firm as a Managing Director based in Hong Kong. Sai brings deep experience in driving large-scale, strategy-led operations and digital transformations in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) industry.
Sai’s 25 years of TMT consultancy and industry experience includes restructuring operations, driving cost efficiencies, and improving enterprise performance at more than 30 companies globally. In addition, Sai advised clients on technology strategy, capital productivity, organization transformation, growth strategy, business planning and infrastructure M&A.
Sai joins from McKinsey, where he was a Partner and the global co-leader of the technology strategy and operations domains within the TMT practice. He also led the creation of rapid diagnostics tool suite, advanced analytics solutions and developed partnerships with high-tech solution providers. Prior to McKinsey, he led cost transformation, corporate and growth strategy engagements for telecommunication, technology, and retail clients at Kearney, and prior to that, he was a Principal Member of Technical Staff at AT&T leading operations planning for B2B services. Sai received an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with Dean’s honors and Phi Kappa Phi Honors. He is also an AWS certified cloud practitioner and a certified scrum expert.
