Leveraging its deep expertise in enhancing business operations and capability transfer, INDEVCO Consultancy has launched an Operational Excellence Academy.
The launch brings the best of INDEVCO Consultancy’s consulting and knowledge transfer expertise into the new arm, focused on delivering a range of leadership, professional development and technical training programs and courses to both individuals and teams.
“Our experienced experts provide recognised certifications and training to help improve on-the-job competencies and develop expertise and business knowledge,” said Wissam Moubarak, a Vice President at the Lebanese consulting firm.
With over six decades of industrial and operational experience under its belt, INDEVCO Consultancy (the advisory pillar of manufacturing group INDEVCO), specialises in value creation and manufacturing excellence in (mainly industrial) operations. The firm helps clients with among others optimising their supply chain, streamlining processes, embedding data-driven working and ensuring workplace safety and sound risk management.
As part of its delivery approach, the firm’s consultants have always transferred knowledge to clients, enabling them to take ownership of their own journey and drive continuous improvement. Both these skillsets now form the pillars of the new Academy, which has launched with a curriculum comprising six courses, including ‘Critical Decisions in Operations Management’ which focuses on helping managers mature their skills to master operations and advance capabilities in the areas of process management, procurement, supply chain, logistics and more.
Another course, ‘Introduction to the ISO 9001:2015 standard’, aims at helping professionals with understanding the importance of quality management, and how they can successfully implement the ISO 9001 quality management system within their organisation.
