Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has strengthened its Corporate Transformation Services team and its Oil & Gas and Aerospace & Defense capabilities with the appointment of Florent Maisonneuve as Managing Director in the Paris office. Mr. Maisonneuve’s 25 years of senior leadership and industry experience bolsters A&M’s corporate transformation expertise and demonstrate the firm’s dedication to creating global solutions for clients facing energy and aerospace sector challenges.

Mr. Maisonneuve’s joining aligns with A&M’s strategic growth and capabilities expansion plan. Over the past two years the firm has marshalled rapid growth in France, augmenting the Paris office headcount over 200 percent. Along with Mr. Maisonneuve, recent Managing Director hires Renald Bejaoui and David Benichou continue to diversify A&M’s offerings regionally and globally while building upon the firm’s operational heritage and commitment to driving change and delivering results.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Maisonneuve served as a Managing Director with AT Kearney and AlixPartners where he led engagements in France and around the world including distressed companies’ refinancing and turnaround, cost reductions for major global oil companies, as well as several consolidations and carve-out transactions in the Aerospace & Defense sector.

Mr. Maisonneuve is recognized for his involvement in leading aerospace and energy financial restructuring transactions. Recently, over a four-year period, in his roles as Chief Transformation Officer and then as Chief Operation Officer with IDEMIA, a global leader in digital identity and security solutions, Mr. Maisonneuve delivered a carve-out and a merger to create a €3 billion global security leader.

Mr. Maisonneuve holds a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris and from Teschniche Universität München and has completed an MBAE program from the University of Michigan.
