PwC and Microsoft have brought their global partnership to Qatar – aiming to support the country’s digital transformation efforts across government and business.
The pair collaborate on the global stage to deliver tech-backed (business) transformations that help realise the potential of digital investments – based on cutting edge principles of agility, innovation and flexibility. The award-winning partnership has now landed in Qatar – where businesses are ready to repivot for the future.
“As a leading Microsoft global partner with over 200 certified experts in the region, PwC leverages the power of Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 to unlock potentials and use data to enable business transformation and solve our client’s most important problems,” explained Bassam Hajhamad – PwC Qatar senior partner and consulting lead.
Azure is the second-largest cloud service provider in the world according to Statista – occupying 20% of the cloud market share. And Microsoft 365 is a comprehensive suite of cloud-based, efficient and secure workflow products and services that enable business optimisation.
These tools will form a strong base, while PwC’s digital expertise and industry solutions will help organisations implement and maximise the value from these solutions. Cloud transitions will be a big part of the new proposition, combined with enhanced data analytics, security and compliance capabilities – both for public bodies and businesses across the energy, real estate, education and healthcare sectors, among several others.
“Through this alliance, organisations will harness the core competencies of both companies, PwC’s strategy and consultancy expertise coupled with Microsoft’s best in class cloud technology in data, artificial intelligence, business applications and low code/ no-code development tools,” noted Lana Khalaf, country manager at Microsoft Qatar.
Digitalisation forms a core pillar of Qatar’s National Vision 2030 – a government-backed initiative that aims to build Qatar into a modern, diversified and sustainable economy that can support domestic aspirations and compete on the global stage. The country is already a global leader in the 5G space – touted as the bedrock of a digital future – and is working to grow into a digital hub.
PwC and Microsoft will now support this ambition. “Our alliance of going to the market together aligns with our commitment to support decision-makers and industry leaders in Qatar to amplify sustainable business growth and digital resiliency,” concluded Khalaf.
