Jean-Patrick Yanitch joins the consulting firm after serving as a Special Advisor to the G20 Presidency, based in Saudi Arabia. Before that, he worked for the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel (ACP), an organisation that is responsible for supervising France’s banking and insurance sectors in France.

A Special Advisor, Yanitch represented the body in European working groups and the Basel Committee, providing expertise banking regulation and supervision of systemic banks, among others. Earlier in his career, he worked for the French Central Bank, for a French ministry and held a number of government roles focused on economics and international relations.

At Oliver Wyman, Yanitch has been tasked with setting up its Public Sector and Policy practice in France. The firm already has such practices in among others the US and the UK, and is now seeking to gain a foothold in the French market. “Our work spans the spectrum of societal issues, including economic development, cost management, tax, security, labour, and governance,” said Davide Taliente, Oliver Wyman’s EMEA Managing Partner.

Thierry Duvette joins Oliver Wyman as a partner and European head of its Aerospace & Defence practice. He previously served Roland Berger in Paris, where he was the global co-head of the firm’s Aerospace & Defence arm, as well as a leader in its Industrial Goods & Services, Performance Improvement and Restructuring practices in France.

Earlier in his career, Duvette served another consultancy – AlixPartners – where he was a partner since 2012. Prior to that, he spent two decades at Dassault Aviation, a manufacturer of combat aircraft and business jets.
