AlixPartners announced that cybersecurity specialist Beth Musumeci has joined as a Managing Director in the firm’s Digital practice. She will have a leadership role in AlixPartners’ global cybersecurity practice.

Beth is a recognized cybersecurity expert, bringing more than two decades of experience leading global teams in both the private sector and state and federal governments. An early pioneer in establishing security operations centers, Beth led the establishment of a global logical security operations center spanning five continents and serving hundreds of customers as an industry-recognized leading managed security services provider (MSSP), and she has served many Fortune, 500 customers, across all industries.

Beth joins AlixPartners from IBM Security Services where she was the Global Healthcare & Life Sciences Leader. Prior to IBM, Beth was Vice President Cyber Security for GE Healthcare, with a strong focus on product security. She also served in many security capacities in her extensive career with Computer Science Corporation (CSC), where she ultimately served as General Manager for their global commercial cybersecurity practice. Beth began her career at The DuPont Company where she completed a professional certification program in Information Technology and Leadership.
