The founding directors of Channel 3 Consulting have passed on the baton to a new generation of equity leaders, who have acquired the company following a management buyout.
Under the new leadership of John Howard, Eleanor Rollason, and Lucy McLintock, Channel 3 Consulting is embarking on an ambitious growth trajectory, focused on doubling the size of the business' permanent team over the next 12 to 18 months, said chief executive John Howard to Consultancy.uk.
Founded in 2009 by Rhys Hefford, Brian Gorman, Paul Manvell, and Jessica Bradshaw, Channel 3 Consulting is a specialist consulting firm providing advisory and programme delivery services to the public sector, with a focus on the healthcare segment. Howard: “We specialise in enabling organisations in the health, public and third sectors to maximise the benefits of digital transformation, enhance services and operate more efficiently.”
Channel 3 Consulting embarks on its next phase of growth
The consultancy has since inception grown to a permanent team of around 50 consultants and staff and has along the way bagged a number of awards for its services and growth, including being recognised in The Sunday Times Fast Track – UK’s fastest growing companies to watch.
Channel 3 Consulting’s track record includes working with over 90 organisations across the NHS, private healthcare, local government, the Ministry of Defence, and the wider public sector. It is currently appointed to several key NHS and public sector frameworks.
The firm’s plans to break through the barrier of 100 employees is backed by WestBridge, a private equity group which specialises in supporting fast-growing small and mid-sized businesses.
Speaking on the ambition, Howard said: “The aim is to grow both our permanent team and the associate team. From a services perspective, the plan is to grow out from existing core services like digital strategy, business case development, EPR implementation, and optimisation, to areas of work that have become all the more important such as remote monitoring and digital transformation. We will also expand our offerings in tech enablement across integrated care systems.”
Currently based in London, Channel 3 Consulting will also be seeking to expand its geographic coverage across the United Kingdom, broadening its footprint across all regions of England, Scotland and Wales.
“This is a hugely exciting moment for our business. Everyone in our team is proud of the positive impact of our work and excited to be in a position where we can make our services available to even more organisations,” concluded Howard.
