Beating out five other bidders, global technology and management consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, has been awarded a new 3-year contract to provide Health Informatics Strategy and Support services in support of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. This task, valued at $8M, was competed and awarded using the GSA Professional Services Schedule (PSS).

Take Bytes

• This award comes on the heels of a $194M CMS Marketplace System Integrator support contract Booz Allen Hamilton was awarded just a few short months ago and a $53M CMS Payment Error Rate Measurement (PERM) Eligibility Review contract they were awarded early last year.

• Armed with a broad set of capabilities and Prime access to nearly every key contract vehicle used by CMS, to include CMS SPARC, CIO-SP3, CMS MIDS, RMADA 2, and nearly every GSA option, this group has to continue to be viewed as a competitor and partner option on any bid.

• Booz Allen Hamilton was recently named to the updated list of NXT UP firms poised to make big waves in the Federal sector in 2020 and for years to come.
