FTI Consulting, Inc. announced the expansion of its Transactions practice within its Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment with the appointments of Ryan Baker, Justin McCarty and Krishna Pattabhiraman as Managing Directors.

Based in San Francisco, Mr. Baker specializes in advising on mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”) for private equity groups and corporate clients. He has more than 15 years of experience assisting companies across the technology, industrial goods, retail and consumer products, and food and beverage industries. Mr. Baker has worked on deals covering the full spectrum of transaction types, including buy-side, sell-side, majority/minority stakes, auction processes and debt issuances. His M&A expertise encompasses financial due diligence, quality of revenues/earnings and working capital analyses, purchase agreement review and negotiation, and free cashflow modeling.
Based in Chicago, Mr. McCarty specializes in analyzing financial statements, financial models and cash flows; managing M&A teams; and performing synergy assessment and implementation. He has more than 15 years of experience providing financial and operational consulting, M&A transaction advisory, merger integration and interim financial management services to a variety of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, private equity, mezzanine and senior lenders. He has advised clients across the food, consumer packaged goods, chemical and industrial manufacturing, automotive, healthcare, business services and technology industries.
Based in New York, Mr. Pattabhiraman specializes in advising on integration and divestiture planning and execution. He brings more than 25 years of global consulting and industry experience covering the transaction lifecycle and has worked with clients across the life sciences, financial services, and retail and consumer products industries. Mr. Pattabhiraman has extensive experience leading finance and accounting divestitures and integrations, as well as advising on cross-functional project management offices. He has particular experience designing interim and future-state operating models, developing transition services agreements, advising on delayed close models, focusing on Day 1 priorities, creating standalone cost models, supporting synergies quantification and tracking, producing M&A integration playbooks and advising chief financial officers.
