WELL Health Technologies Corp., an operator of medical clinics and provider of electronic medical records (EMR) software, has welcomed Tara McCarville to its board of directors. The former PwC Canada partner brings more than 20 years of experience in consulting, healthcare, and telecoms to the role.
McCarville is currently principal consultant at Brighton Group, a boutique healthcare sector advisory firm which helps public and private sector clients with growth strategy, revenue diversification, and operational improvement.
She previously spent three years at PwC Canada, where she was a partner and national health industries leader. In the role, she helped improve quality and outcomes for clients across government, hospital, healthtech/medtech, home and long-term care, and private equity.
McCarville also spent three years as VP, quality, enterprise risk & business intelligence at Trillium Health Partners, a large multi-site health service provider. Before that she was a principal at healthcare sector advisory firm Courtyard Group, and then a principal at Telus Health after Courtyard was acquired by the telecom giant.
Earlier in her career, McCarville was a senior consultant at KPMG Canada and PSTG Consulting, working in the areas of program management, ERP implementation, and business process re-engineering. She holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Victoria and a bachelor’s degree in history from Queen’s University.
