Wipro Infrastructure Engineering (WIN) said it would acquire Precision Automation and Robotics India (PARI).
WIN’s industrial automation business has signed a definitive agreement for this.
The combined capabilities of WIN and PARI would help broaden its offering, expand global footprint, and strengthen its ability to forge deeper customer relationships in India and overseas, said the company in a press release.
Founded in 1990, PARI is a prominent player in industrial automation in India and has a significant overseas presence. The company has deployed more than 1,500 automated systems worldwide across more than 75 global customers.

We ventured into the industrial automation business with the vision to be among the leading players globally. Over the last few years, we have built significant capabilities and partnerships. With PARI’s addition to the Wipro family, our combined strength makes us a complete industrial automation company capable of serving customers globally and offers significant growth opportunities in the future,” Pratik Kumar, CEO, WIN, was quoted saying.
Mangesh Kale, managing director, PARI, said: "During the last 30 years, we have established PARI as a reputed industrial automation company and this partnership enables the company to widen its horizon further’.
