Deloitte has announced the appointment of nine new partners following the completion of the acquisition of the business and assets of Keytree, an international award winning technology consultancy, which today becomes a Deloitte business.

Overall 400 employees from Keytree today join Deloitte’s consulting practice, bringing a wide range of expertise in digital transformation including data analytics, cloud and robotic technologies to the firm. This will grow the size of Deloitte’s consulting division to 5,900 people in the UK, with Keytree teams also joining Deloitte in India, Spain, Australia and Canada.

The combination of Deloitte and Keytree’s capabilities will create the UK’s largest SAP-enabled transformation practice and one of the largest in Europe.

Anne-Marie Malley, managing partner for consulting at Deloitte, said: “Our clients’ digital transformation programmes continue to grow at an ever larger and more complex scale. Building our team will ensure that we can support our clients in these ambitious projects with an unrivalled breadth and depth of expertise. Welcoming Keytree’s people, innovation and creativity into our practice at this pivotal time will magnify the impact that we can bring to our clients’ business by creating exciting capabilities for digital transformation at a global scale.”

Dan McNamara, partner and CEO of Keytree, a Deloitte Business, said: “Today marks a landmark moment in Keytree’s history as we join with Deloitte to create the UK’s largest SAP-enabled transformation practice. It is particularly important that we are joining a firm that shares our principles of collaboration, inclusion, accountability, and integrity. This will ensure we retain an entrepreneurial culture while growing the enlarged business in a sustainable and innovative way. I’m excited to be leading Keytree as a Deloitte business at a time when digital transformation is a key business priority for organisations across all industries.”

Keytree, as a new Deloitte business, will enhance the firm’s capabilities to facilitate implementations of SAP S/4HANA®, SAP Customer Experience, SAP® SuccessFactors® and SAP Cloud Platform across a range of businesses at a global scale.

The majority of Keytree’s employees will join Deloitte’s SAP practice in the enterprise technology and performance consulting division, while a number will also join the firm’s human capital consulting and central functions teams.

Rob Cullen, partner and leader of Deloitte’s enterprise technology practice, concludes: “Working with our new colleagues will allow us to create new ways to support our clients as they look to digitise every aspect of their business. At the same time, we will be able to offer stimulating opportunities for people to grow their careers at Deloitte, focusing on developing new ways for technology to make a lasting impact on businesses and society, helping brands to grow and thrive in the digital era.”
