A new management consultancy specialising in up-selling, coaching, operational and social media management has launched in Nottingham.
SNE Business Solutions is headed up by Steve Edwards, an experienced business, product and account manager with a blue chip background, including senior roles at construction equipment giant JCB, Volvo and Finning, the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer.
He said: “There is so much that smaller firms can learn from the multinationals and I want to help owner-managed businesses gain access to some of the thinking and practical solutions behind their approaches.
“Often, it is the small things that make the big difference, whether that is a more rigorous after sales programme or making slight tweaks to processes that can drive greater efficiencies, the results will drive the bottom line.
“Of course, it isn’t all about systems, company culture plays a huge part in attracting and retaining high calibre individuals who can then provide exceptional service and we will be working with all of our clients on identifying and harnessing that within their teams.”
SNE is already partnering with a local charity as it seeks to help bring businesses and charitable causes closer together.
Edwards added: “We’ve already implemented a simple change within our own business, where we give clients the option to make a small donation to our chosen charity Forever Stars on every invoice. My wife’s parents suffered the tragedy of stillbirth and we also experienced a very close shave with our little boy last summer which put life into perspective and got me thinking about businesses large and small can do more.
