In the wake of its successful merger with Moore Stephens, the newly-enlarged BDO has promoted 14 new partners across its UK offices.

The partners were promoted to tax, audit, and advisory teams across the firm’s London, Birmingham, Southampton, Manchester and East Anglia offices.

Collectively, BDO’s new partners have experience across a wide range of sectors, from natural resources to real estate.

Seven of the newly promoted partners are part of BDO’s advisory team. Susan Blower, Kevin Haywood Crouch and Caryn Deeley specialise in forensics, and will be joined by Tim Betts (business restructuring), Gareth Jones (business outsourcing), Helen O’Kane (M&A) and Robert Waters (international institutions and donor assurance).

In its audit practice, Tracey Keeble, Laura Pingree, and Steven Roberts have been made partner, while Steve Watts, Steve Hoon, Paul Townson and Lyndon Firth were promoted in BDO’s tax team.

Commenting on the new promotions, BDO managing partner Paul Eagland said, “2019 has already been a notable year for BDO for many reasons. Following our successful merger with Moore Stephens, we are in a position of strength and I am thrilled that our newly-enlarged firm is continuing to attract and retain exceptional talent.”

He added, “Anyone who has been through the partner promotion process will understand how rigorous and challenging it can be, but it is hugely rewarding and a great opportunity for us to celebrate the talent we have within the firm. They are all great role models to their teams and have demonstrated a strong focus on quality and client service. I congratulate them all.”
