A leading Life Sciences consulting firm were seeking an Associate Partner / Director level individual to play a key role in establishing a new business unit in Switzerland. Our client needed a vastly experienced Life Sciences consulting professional who has a strong network within major Pharmaceutical firms in the region with expertise in business development, account management and practice development.
After an extensive search for talent in Switzerland, Consulting Point were able to identify the Life Sciences Client Partner / Account Director for a Big 4 advisory firm where they had been responsible for all of their 14 Life Sciences accounts in the region, focused on improving performance and generating additional revenue. This particular talent was a Thought Leader in the Life Sciences industry in Switzerland and had a range of Management Consulting expertise across Business Change, Finance Transformation, Enterprise Performance Management and Operational Improvement. They had also spent several years working inhouse with a tier 1 pharmaceutical firm in Switzerland where they still hold a number of C-suite relationships.
The candidate moved quickly through the interview process spending time with the practice leader to create a comprehensive business plan of how they would approach the role should they be successful. The business plan was well received from the Life Sciences senior leadership team and the candidate was subsequently made an offer which was immediately accepted. The client was delighted to have secured a top talent from the Big 4 who they believe is the best individual to grow a new business unit in Switzerland and to target further development with a range of Pharmaceutical accounts in the region. The candidate is very much looking forward to commencing their employment with this boutique consulting firm in a much more entrepreneurial environment with exciting plans for rapid growth in the local Life Sciences market.
