The M&A practice of this highly respected consulting firm based in the Nordics was looking to expand their presence even further particularly in Norway.  Covering commercial due diligence, technology advisory and growth strategy the practice desperately needed a lead consultant to take the reins of a sub team and replicate the success they had in other parts of the firm.

Through a detailed mapping exercise an up and coming lead manager was identified from a competitor firm. Although recalcitrant regarding external opportunities, through a meticulous interview process the candidate eventually realised the sui generis role our client had created. The final position and responsibilities created were too good to ignore and although the candidate was counter offered he/she was elated in accepting the lead manager position with our client.
