Established in 2011, Discovery Consulting specialises in SAP consulting and implementation services, for on-premise, cloud and hybrid solution environments. Headquartered in Melbourne, the 60-person consulting firm also has offices in Brisbane and Sydney.
Alistair Elliott, Managing Partner at Discovery Consulting, said that the appointment of Rod Gallagher is part of the firm’s strategy to further grow the business.
A veteran in the IT consulting world, Gallagher brings around three decades of experience to Discovery Consulting. A former Deloitte partner, he also spent years at Big Four counterpart PwC, and more recently held leadership roles at Wipro, DXC Technology and Infosys.
“Securing someone of Rod Gallagher’s industry stature as CEO is a significant achievement for our firm,” said Elliott. “His extensive experience and expertise will undoubtedly elevate our capabilities, strengthen our market position, and help drive our business forward.”

The new CEO has also been tasked with spearheading the firm’s expansion into SAP RISE services, complementing its existing offerings around SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and SAP applications across human resources, payroll, finance, procurement, and workplace safety.
