Dutch management consultancy firm FiSer Consulting has expanded into Germany, launching its first international office in Frankfurt.
Founded in 2015, FiSer Consulting is a niche consulting firm that helps financial institutions with delivering complex change. The firm works mainly for banks, insurance companies, and pension funds.
Mischa Wesdorp, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at FiSer Consulting, said that international expansion has always been an ambition. Following years of strong growth in its home market, he said the time was now right to make the foray into mainland Europe’s largest financial services centre.

said Wesdorp.
“Expanding into Germany signifies a first important strategic step in our international growth agenda. Our new office in Frankfurt puts us in one of the world’s main hubs for banking and insurance services, offering major commercial opportunities for expansion and impact.”
Leading the new office is Willem Jan van Dam, who brings extensive experience in the financial services industry to his new role. Over the course of his career, he led the execution of multiple international change programs, in areas including organisational restructurings, post-merger integrations, transformation, separation, and regulatory technology.
Van Dam most recently served as a Senior Project Manager on a project with ABN AMRO, where he was part of the team leading the winding down of the Clearing Bank operations in several countries, including Dubai, Shanghai, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. Prior to his seven years at ABN AMRO, he spent a dozen years at Fortis Bank.

said Van Dam.
“We know what it takes to deliver programmes with challenging timelines, complex governance structure or complex integration challenges.”
The new hub in Frankfurt will also serve as a stepping stone for services to the entire DACH region in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
